The thing you notice most about firing the CP Sport is the trigger pull. It is double action only and extremely long and heavy. This makes it difficult to hold on target. But if you can hold it on target, it is surprizingly accurate for so small a pistol. It is actually capable of grouping within a 2″ circle at 25′. The claimed mv of 360fps is overstated. With 7.5gr pellets, mine will do about 340 for the first few shots. The remaining shots are just over 300fps. I get about 80 usable shots from a CO2 cartridge. The gun has a good feel and the quality of construction seems good. However, at the retail price of about $100, I cannot recommend it. If you are able to find one at a sizable discount, give it a shot.

This gun is not a hunter but a plinker. It has an 8 shot cylinder that is small. It is small and light wight. if you dont have the gun upright when you open the chamber the cylinder will fall out. The gun has a very hevy trigger pull and you can not adjust the trigger. This gun also take co2 so you have to fiddle with that.

I own both the CPSport and the NightHawk. Basically they are both the same gun. They look and feel nice. They are not powerful with only 365fps but shoot well. The Nighthawk is a dressed up CPSport the safety is a little different on the Nighthawk but it loads and handles the same.

They both have the same problem. The Trigger pull is way too long. You almost have to pull it all the way against the frame to get it to fire. I wrote the manufacture and they said that it was not adjustable (Sorry.) The second problem is loading the gun. If you are not holding the gun directly upright the pellet cylinder falls out when you pop open the breech. Ive handed it to other friends and watched them make the same mistake when the opened the breech.

Overall, they are very nice guns to add to your collection. Not exactly match quality but fun to shoot.
