Had one of these in the 1970s when they were metal. It could shoot darts into a dart board across the room about as hard as I could have thrown them and couldn’t punch a hole in a cardboard milk carton. After the darts were lost, it made a good prop gun and then became a paper weight.

if you look after this pistol and learn how to tune it to get the most from it…it works just fine …forget bbs and darts for target use…try co2 pellets…10yrd groups are ok and as good as any c02 pistol at that range..if you learn how to strip and tune the working parts, its good fun trying to improve the way it shoots never shot the pistol with out a pellet in the chamber…even one shot could damage the seal and you will lose a lot of the little perfomance it has the skill with this gun is how you look after it….like all airguns if you look after it you will have a gun that works well…

I had this gun when I was about 8. It was well used when I got it and I had it for a number of years afterward.

I discovered soon after I got the hang of loading, cocking, and shooting it in my bedroom that I could easily throw the BBs farther and more accurate than the gun could.

The gun turned out to be a waste of time as I had to pick BBs out of my carpet to re-use in my vastly more powerful Daisy (plastic version of Red Ryder).

I kept the gun for so long because it looked cool and was mechanical.

I do not recommend paying money for one of these, but if you happen to acquire one, you probably will hang onto it for a while.

These have been around here in the UK since the 60’s which is when i first had one – come under a variety of guises, Diana, Milbro, Sportsmarketing all the same G10. For what they are and price they are great. Easy to load and fire. no jams, sadly low powered and not accurate but still fun. Added bonus here in the UK at present is that they are classed as airguns so we can still own them as repica Colt 1911’s whereas the new gun laws denies us plastic replica Colt 1911’s – funny old worlds here in the UK where you canot have a toy gun but only a real (air) gun.

Recommend; UNDER FOLLOWING CONDITIONS;

Only for what it was intended to be, the cheapest available gun. This is what teenagers bought on their own because they dont have any money, that’s why I bought my all potmetal version in the 80’s. It is fine as 10FEET away indoors dart game in a bachelor pad. It’s fine as a junk gun you can not worry about losing or breaking.

I wouldn’t reccommend this as a gun to introduce youngsters to shooting with because the inaccuracy may discourage them. This gun was intended to rule the bottom end of the spectrum and it has had that ‘honor’ for many years which makes it a screaming success as it is proud to be the ugly loser, as it collects millions, $20 at a time. You can buy it, hate it, and then smile when you find it in a tackle box you haven’t seen in 20 years. Also dont ever take this gun apart. Reassembly is impossible without dental floss, special jigs, and three small chinese hands to fit in.

This has to be the worst airgun of all time. It has a smooth bore but if it was rifled the round would never get out of th gun. This crap should be taken off the market.

First off, I had this little pup for close to 2 years, and nothing ever broke on it. I bought it for around 12 bucks I think, and put around 2000 shots through it.

It is a perfect gun for a kid. Plain and simple. You don’t want to give your 8 year old boy a 550 FPS hand cannon to learn with, so give him this, and start him off at 8 feet from some cans. I shot tons and TONS of cans with this from 8-10 feet, and had an absolute blast.

Unfortunately, i think they are making them in plastic now….. so I wouldn’t encourage buying this for ANYONE.

Closing – If you’re looking for something to pop at some cans inside the house, get this. It won’t break any windows, and it’s uber simple to use. Also, it gives you some wicked big forearm muscles 🙂

Biggest P.O.S. I have ever owned! I could pull the trigger and throw the gun. The gun would hit the target before the BB would and with better accuracy!

You must be kidding. An airgun that can’t even put its own dart into the supplied dartboard? Famous for dribbling bbs out of the barrel because it doesn’t have enough power to push them down the barrel. When it does fire accuracy is largely a matter of luck. If you do hit the target, it might dent it. Never once got this gun to penetrate an alumimum can, even at point blank, muzzle against the can, distance.

I agree with you guys. The shooting experience is very poor and it doesn’t shoot very accurate. It broke in 2 months so I trew it away.
