Like all pop out barrel guns you wont get very much in the way of pinpoint shooting with pellets ( try hitting a phonebook at 7to10 yards and you may get 2 or 3 from 10 . Where this wee gun works is with darts not up to target standards but a lot better than pellets. Where this gun was diferant from other pop guns was in its looks it resembled a small semi auto pistol and this made it a bit more desirable to wee boys than the GAT type of guns. When you take into account that the gun is made up from a total of 10 or so parts it’s amazing how much fun they are for the money so go on you know you want to the word you are looking for is FUN.

I owned a Diana SP 50 as a youth about 30 years ago, it cost me 4 pounds in a local sports shop.

It’s accuracy was realy bad – it could’nt hit a coke can at a distance of 10 m, the power was also very poor. A friend accidently shot me in the leg with a pellet at short distance, which only

caused a bruse and did no damage to my trousers.

At distances over 10 m it keyholed cardboard or made a key shaped impression on the target, because it had a smooth barrel we often used darts

for target practice. It was cheap and great fun but not a pistol for serious shooting.
