Got the pistol initially and had fired about a dozen shots, and the barrel would not latch upon cocking, so I sent the pistol back into Umarex for repair.

Got the pistol back within a week with a tin of Super H pells for my trouble.

Been shooting lots since, almost got the 500 Super H’s gone, and some others as well.

Lots of power, very good plinker, I am really pleased with the sight picture, very fast with target aquisition. Came with the right hand grip set and gives me a very stable relaxed hold.

The longer sight plane allows for some pretty accurate shots.

Been shooting freehand out to 20 yards for kills almost every shot. Had a few kills out to 40 but not every shot.

Good points: Hard shooting. Easy to work on. Trigger is adjustable but not particularly great, suitable for price. Left hand grips available. Rear adjustable fiber optic sights ok.

Bad points: Poor quality control, barrel was bored at chamber low and to the left and dead center at crown; result was that pistol shot high and to the right. So bad that even maxed out the rear adjustable sight was not able to compensate. RWS very unhelpful in resolving issue, would not respond to inquiries. Took matters in hand and drilled/tapped a smidge right and offcenter on the P5 compensator and attached my Remington 597 .22 rimfire front sight (much higher blade than OEM). This works amazingly well and the gun shoots very accurately now. I do not recommend anyone to purchase any RWS product based upon my customer service experience.
