The Crosman 157 is the .177 cal version of the venerated .22 cal Crosman 150. This single shot c02 pistol has not been manufactured in decades and is now a classic. My version has comfortable wrap-around plastic grips, other than this, the pistol is all metal and has a solid feel to it. The size is just right at 9.25 inches in length. On my model, the rear sight is not adjustable for windage or elevation. However, it is zeroed in about right for indoor target shooting at 25′. Accuracy is good enough to place 5 out of 6 rounds in an inch circle at that distance. Trigger pull is not great but is acceptable. When firing, there is some muzzle flip which can throw a shooter off target. Power is good enough for target shooting, plinking and small pest control. I chronied super dome pellets at 440 fps. Loading pellets can be frustrating because the breach is over-sized for .22 cal pellets causing the smaller .177 pellets to turn and jam. This is why I did not award 5 thumbs up, but don’t let this stop you from buying one if you get the chance.

though it has not been produced for quite a while it is a accurate hard hitting co2 pistol built in crosmans peak era ,not there best pistol, but one of the best for sure, custom grips are the only thing I have changed as the stock plastic are small and give the pistol a cheap feel ,the rest is all metal with adjustable sites for windage only,a elevation blade from later models (1377)could be added but I have found it not realy needed.
