Good pistol for a basement shooting range. Low enough velocity to avoid punching a hole in the pellet trap. It is accurate with good balance. Smooth trigger. A little difficult to load especially if you have big fingers. Pointed pellets are easier to load.

I got the cheeper version, the p-17. It is the HARDEST to cock and HARDEST to load POS I have ever used. I had got it for one of my boys for x-mas, he isn’t big enough to cock it himself, so I have to do it then hand it to him. My fingers are too big to load it easily.

On the UP-SIDE, it has a WONDERFUL trigger, and seems to be accurate.

The power dropped off some after a few shooting sessions with it.

For the price range, I would just stick to the 1377.

Hard to load and the little assembly pins often work loose but it’s awsome indoors and cheap to use. My first one failed after about 500 shots . I got the runaround from service so I bought another one and used the bill to take the first one back. The replacement gun failed after about 100 shots, to the point of firing spontaneously about 3 seconds after cocking. The store replaced #2 with #3, which has held up so far (about 500 shots ).Just don’t trust this thing unconditionally if you are using it in the living room and you have an antique mirror.About 460 fps on the chrony.

This Airgun is probably manufactured under more names than any other airgun, and they all look the same. Here are a few that I found.

Beeman P-17

Beeman P3

Marksman 2004

Weihrauch HW40 PCA

Beeman owns Marksman so Im not surprised to see the same design.

If you examine the power-plant in these guns they are all the same. The expensive ones are made in Europe the cheep ones are made in China / Taiwan.

It is a single shot airgun and not very easy to load. However it is fun to shoot.

I have found that the same power-plant is also used in the Gamo Compact even though the appearance is different

Overall its not a bad gun to own and shoot. Take your pick.

Nice little gun, a lot of fun. I bought the combo which comes with a mounted Beeman 2×20 scope for I think $225. or so. It has great accuracy, easy cocking and an all around quality feel to it. I wish it was a bit more powerful but ya can’t have everything I guess. Great basement gun, its quiet and any pellet trap has no trouble catching its pellets. Great hours of fun but please don’t take it into the woods trying to kill anything. That would just be cruel.

This gun is great. I’ve shot over 500 pellets out of this gun and have not had any problems. This gun will kill crows if you can get close enough.
