I can buy these really cheaply ($27 a sleeve of 5000), so I clamped 2 C02 match air pistols in a vise to really test them. They shot as well as most other pellets tested. They are lightweights so I like them in the pneumatic air pistol I prefer for match shooting. They also shoot well in my Beeman R7 rifle. Excellent pellets.

I used to use these as my “plinking” pellets, until I determined (after a lot of testing) that Gamo Match were slightly – and I mean SLIGHTLY – superior.

The Geco is a very nicely finished pellet, but they’re also very light (less than 7gr, I believe). This leads to 2 problems…

First, velocity retention isn’t going to be as good as a heavier pellet at longer ranges, and the lightweight Geco is more suseptible to crosswinds. Second… in a strong springer (around 1000fps), they can develop higher muzzle velocities – and unexpectedly go supersonic!

Still, it isn’t a bad pellet at all – especially with low to moderate power guns and for indoor, close-range shooting.
