My example of this rifle was a big disappointment.Poor quality bluing to start, nasty trigger and ruff overall

shooting cycle.I really wanted to like this gun as it

is made in the USA but in spite of this I could not find

much good about it.The folks at Crosman are very customer

oriented but when my example of this gun suffered the all to familiar and common barrel retainer screw problem followed up with a major internal failure I thru in the

towel and returned it.This was one of the worst examples

of a air rifle I have ever bought.Sad.It did look good.

That’s about it for my example of this rifle.Sad.

I just wanted to add, that Owner’s of this fine weapon who want to use the laser trouble-free, should carry a small allen key w/ them when out in the field, Because, If you have it sighted in for let’s say 25yd’s, and you deviate from that distance even by a couple of inche’s, your sight will be off what-ever distance you deviated from that 25yd’s. Practice anticipating your distance’s in the field, and if your on the range it doesn’t really matter too much unless you’re varying your distances,,,Practice! does make Perfect! in this case, and don’t forget that allen key;), also if you’d like your aim to improve I suggest trying the “Artillery Hold” when shooting in the field,,Let the fore-stock do it’s own thing by just barely holding on to it, or even better leave the fore-stock on your open palm, and your accuracy will greatly improve. Cheer’s, and Good Huntin’, Andy.

Things I liked:Look’s Great, It’s very well suited for the hunt, Nice, Powerful, and accurate(w/ the right ammo!)

Things I would have changed:The trigger could use a little smoothing out(although I’m only at around 750 spent round’s, so it may smooth it-self out yet), the rubber on the Bi-Pod barrel clamp need’s to be re-glued after a day in the field. The addition of sling swivel placement’s would top this weapon off, I hate using “Shot-Gun” sling’s with this gun.

What others should know:I use RWS Silicone Chamber Oil, and my M/V has gone from 800fps to almost 975fps, and that’s with lead(16gr. H&N Coppa-Point’s are DEVASTATING! in this shooter), and I don’t think you’d like to know what I’m getting with 11gr “RWS Hyper-Velocity” round’s(1110fps, and with 9gr Prometheus round’s almost 1155fps),,I can’t wait to try the *NEW* GAMO Raptor PBA’s with this gun,,,Cheer’s, Andy.

When I posted my first review over a year ago, I was far from an airgun guru and just bought one for a tree rat problem. Since then I have been hooked and own 11 diferent types. On the down side this is one of them and they can keep it. Crossman makes a wicked pellet but just can not seem to do the same for an air rifle in my eyes. The laser is a joke on this. The trigger pull is funny and the groups are all over the place when trying a dozen different types of pellets. I always use a tripod when giving a review to insure it is not me. That is one of the few nice things about this rifle. Well that and the flashlight. It just seems to be a lot of money for a flashlight and bipod so you can see what you are missing.

Very powerful gun. That’s about all I can say.

Problem comes with the add-ons provided by Crosman. Laser is a joke. Moves around after every shot. Scope is pretty medium. Had it bore sighted and it was still not shooting accurately. Flashlight worked fine. Stand was not quite up to par. Was pretty loose even after making sure it was fastened on tightly.

Was using Predator Pellets. Majority of them were too big to fit in the barrel. Don’t know if that was the fault of the gun or the pellets.

Ended up taking the gun back. Just a bad experience, I suppose.
