Recently bought one of these after reading some reviews.Got it for $69.95 at Fred Meyer.I also have a Crosman 1077 CO2, and a Beeman model 1024.While I have got some good groups with each gun, the Remington is by far the most accurate, most consistent, and the least pellet picky.I replaced the cheapo 4×15 scope with a nice Leapers 4×32 airgun scope with adjustable objective. It’s a little odd that, this gun being made by Crosman (basically a Crosman model 2100B), that some of the few pellets it doesn’t care for are the Crosman Premier hollow point, and wadcutters.I shoot from a table using a small portable bench rest.I have shot my best group ever with an air rifle using Gamo Hunter round nose pellets at 10 yards. If measured center to center, this is a three shot group measuring 0.0″.I normally shoot five shot groups, but when I saw what I had there after three shots, I stopped, afraid that I might get a flyer and ruin it. I then fired off a five shot group using the Hunters, and got a fine group of about .125″. I wish I could shoot that good all the time! It’s clear that this gun is in no way holding me back.I use five pumps, as it has the accuracy, and is also very quiet. My Beeman “springer” is maddeningly hard to shoot accurately, though I do sometimes get some good groups. The Remington is not hard to get good results, and I am very glad I got it.

A pumper can maintain equal pressure from shot to shot far more reliably than co2, but with more time between shots. This rifle is extreemely accurate. BB’s are fun to use as you have a large reserve, and 17 in the “magazine” to use without “reloading”. The sights are adjustable and work very well.It is a tack driver with pellets, but they must be loaded singly While this rifle is almost the twin of the Crosman 2100,it is altered to look like the Remington 7400.The stock is black rather than wood toned, and the barrel is stainless steel rather than blued.
