This gun is fairly accurate, easy to load, fairly powerful. Maybe not my first choice. I paid about $100 5 or so years ago and it still works fine. Yes it’s plastic but what the hell, it’s a bb gun.

I got this gun for about $59.00 which is pretty cheep. It is a low budget entry level brake barrel so if you expect to get a precision air gun you’ll be very disappointed. I was a little. The barrel is molded over in plastic, the barrel pivot is a roll pin and the barrel locking mechanism works like a tv tray latch. That having been said I still found it to be good for the price. When compared to the cheap Chinese springers it was meant to compete with I think it comes out on top. You know those Chinese brake barrels with the orange stocks,no safety, sights that seem to be made with with a vise a file a hammer and maybe a hatchet that usually seem to have s bent barrel and smell a little like spoiled fish between shots. Not the better ones available more recently. The sights on the 795 are plastic but very adjustable. The stock is plastic but comfortable and easy to grip. Its easy to cock. It groups well enough. It does not emit fishy smelling smoke between shots. this gun is okay for kids or entry level shooters that don’t want to spend much money. Mine has a velocity of about 600 fps. It shoots a 1 inch group at 33 feet. thats good enough to keep a new shooter interested until their next purchase. One thumb up for the ease of use one thumb up for not having a pathetic looking orange stock.

For people that are actually careful with the things they buy, and don’t through their guns around, this gun is a great gun to get. I bought mine 5 years ago, and it still works like new. Accuracy is decent, about a 1/2 foot spread at 150ft. The only problem I have had was in the winter I was shooting and being stupid I whipped the barrel back into position and the pellet inserting piece snapped. It cost me $10 to replace and took not even 5 min at a gun shop.

I bought this thing for 99.99, its a piece of crap. The sight scrapes along the gun when you break it (its a break barrel), the velocity went from about 480 fps to 400 in 2 days. The spring is a piece of crap and the hole thing is made out of plastic. I fell the snapped the sights right off and the barrel got jammed up, the entrace of where you load the pellets i gets dented easily and makes it hard to load pellets… i returned it after 2 days, got a refund and bought the Beeman 1040 which is an extremely impressive gun for the price.
