I thought I would try Co2 for a change. Bought to clear out some backyard pest…Sparrows and Opossums.
Nice for a change not to pump or break like my other airguns.

You have to strip this gun down and polish all parts. It is pretty rough out of the box. This is common on all Chinese guns. Trigger is very adjustable. Search the web for proper modification instructionals.

The tank that came with it will shoot over 400 shots on one fill. I had a gauge installed on the tank so I always know the fill status.

A very consistent bolt action. I shoot heavy Crosman Domes 10.5 grain pellets. They always shoot good on these Chinese rifles.

Mounted a BSA Scope which adds accuracy. I Chrony’ed average 725 fps. Very consistent numbers out of 10 shots.

Put a drop Pellgun oil on the valve everytime you intall the tank. Keeps the seals well maintained.

For the price, it can’t be beat.

I bought an Air Industry QB79 for pest bird and varmint control around my section, where using a firearm is not appropriate. I’ve attached a 3-7 x40 scope, lazer and bipods to it. Excellent rifle – powerful and accurate. Love the bulk fill CO2 tank – which gets around 500 full powered shots. Highly recommended. View my photos and report on www.Hunting.NDENZ.com

I received the Qb79 as a birthday gift from my son last year and now that its spring again I get to use it for the second year to clear the barn of pest.

It shoots straight and with power enough to dispatch rats and barn swallows with a single shot,
