Great trigger. Good looking stock, nice fit and finish. Excellent shooter at bargain price. Mine had a bad breech seal, but not too hard to replace that. Lots of dieseling, and pretty rough for the first 100 shots or so, but smooths out really nice.

This is a solid gun minus the well known stock movement. Once the stock is shimmed and the bolts all threadlocked, you have a super accurate springer worth 3 times the price in performance.

Initially, I would not have recommended this gun because of a nasty but obscure trigger problem that occurred with both examples I’ve owned. It’s possible to induce an accidental firing upon closing the breach – and I really had a problem with that.

After getting to know the gun it became clear that the problem wasn’t as severe as I thought. It only happens when the automatic safety is switched off before the breach is closed and the trigger adjustment is set very loose… if a reasonable amount of tension is kept on that screw the problem goes away.

That issue aside, it is a nicely finished and balanced gun with a fair bit of power and good accuracy, even though cocking effort seems a bit heavier than it ought to be for the power. Overall, I don’t think I could recommend it over the Gamo Shadow if the prices are similar… but occasionally it can be found for substantially less.
