Just to state. I have the BenSher Classic 22 (a 500fps superstreak) in stainless steel.

I have had this rifle for a couple months now. and on my 2500-3000pellet tin..The Rifle is excellent. I have cleaned it every 1000shots. I find it does not foil badly and still stays consistent when it does. I have had this rifle completely apart looking for modifiable parts and it still fires great after a good tighening.

A Center-Point(Crosman) 3-9x40mmAOE Scope mounted.(Set to 1/2turn(7minutes) before max elevation. I get a zero of about 70-80yrds(unchecked). 3mils low @9x for a 50yard target.

I shoot with Crosman Premier Hollow points(10.3?grns)

and Crosman Premier Hunting points(14.9grns)

I find the hollows are tighter in my gun, but the hunters are almost perfectly consitent. I haven’t bought any performance brands yet..

I haven’t group tested it in a while. I was getting 10″ @ 100yrds-On center 4/10shots-nearly no wind.

1.5″@50yrds.

I can shoot a 2″group @ 60yrds at night with the target illuminated by a full-moon, and red-reticule illumination

I machine things in my friends shop on occasion. So I will be modifing heavily. Tophat with a taller foot for sure. and a spring set (Multiple coil counts in the same OVL)

I’d like to see 1000fps chrono’d with a 35grn .221 Hornady bullet…but that’s wishful thinking.

I’ll be happy with a consistent 1000 with the Kodiak 25grns pellet.

The Gun is now coming into it’s prime. The shots are VERY consistent. I could not penetrate an empty acetone tin-can @ 50yrds before 1500rounds. I now can.

Fabulous

Between myself and a few others, we’ve been through 4 of these. All received the GTR trigger treatment as the original trigger is nearly worthless and as mentioned in another review, one wouldn’t even fire (a trend there?).

No point in trying to do anything serious untill you’ve gone through at least one tin or use very heavy pellets.

This beast will launch a 25g Dae Sung pellet (made for pcp rifles) at just over 550 fps and Silver Arrows at right around 800 fps. (There were variations between rifles, but close enough to call average) – Happy hunting!

At 20 yards it’ll stack pellets into a dime sized group.

It is a BIG beast though, so you probably don’t want to be carrying this one out into the brush.

Sorry to say, none of us had any light or even med. wt. pellets on test day, so I can’t tell you what to expect for actual velocity using those.

In spite of the cheesy trigger and crappy brake (a fluted affair that looked like it was just dipped in black paint and left to dry in a sand storm), I have to say, this weapon is about the best deal you’ll get for less than $300. and that’s with a servicable scope included!

Came out of the box and the rifle was gorgeous in metal and wood. The scope is top notch and that’s about where it ends. Could not get pellets on target without shimming the rear of the scope and noticed that it shot way off at different ranges. Barrel was seated in the stock at an angle and that was part of the problem. In less than 800 shots and under a month’s time the mainspring broke. Sent it back in and got my money back. An overpriced Chinese air rifle. When I returned it I got an RWS 34 panther for 50 bucks less and love the new rifle. For 300 bucks for the Stupid Streak I was hoping for a good quality rifle but I don’t think Chinese-made air rifles and qualiy go together.

I purchesed this gun to take care of pest and small animals. Right out of the box it wouldn’t fire. I took the stock off and found the trigger wasn’t in the right position to release. After fixing that I found the gun shot really low and to the left. The barrel angled in that direction. The scope didn’t have enough adjustment to get it to the center. In the mean time the pin that holds the scope mount in place sheared off. I had to buy a new scope mount and file it to make it set low and to the left. I also drilled the hole in the rifle where the scope mount pin goes out and put a bolt in the bottom of the scope mount and cut off the head. This way the bolt will not back out from vibration and has a larger surface area of contact. After all of that it has been working as it should. I’ve shot almost 1K pellets through it and the last 200 have been on target. The trigger pull is heavy even after adjusting it to the lightest setting. I took off the open sights bacause they kept getting in the way. The front sight cut me a couple of times. I would like to remove the barrel shroud but, I it must be pressed on there. The rifle is heavy and too long. I did get 1062 fps with the 9.7gr lead free pellets that came with it. 18.2gr Beeman Crow Magnums were 855fps.
