Have owned Kodiak .25 for years. Bought it new. Made in England. Weighs 9 pounds. Bushnell legend scope. Have owned many pellet guns. This is most powerful. Most accurate. Highest quality. Proud to own and will never sell. Quiet, powerful and safe for all small varmint control. If you can afford it, buy it. It will not come cheap. Stay away from the ones made in Turkey. They suck.

Have owned my Beeman Kodiak .25 cal. for over 10 years. It is built like a quality firearm and is equal to if not better than the R1. I used to own the R1 as well, traded it for the Kodiak and haven’t regretted it. It (as well as the R1) is an exceptional small game air rifle if you do your part. I shoot the Beeman Crow Magnums and do very will with them for both accuracy and knock down power. Like others have posted about the R1 & Kodiak, they are heavy air rifles. I mounted a sling on mine which makes life much easier in the field. I’ve never put a scope on mine but I know others recommend it. If you can find one (I believe they are no longer made as of this posting) and you have the funds I would recommend buying it.

got this one about 3 years a go 1st time i shot it i was in love with it, Iv’e had .177 and .22 but the .25 all i can say is wow! i have had airguns of all kinds good old pump up’s crosmen and there co,2 but i’ve had a rws 45 for years loved that gun but it walk away one day, I’ve killed lots of rats with it out to 50 yards but back to the .25 when you shoot a 1/2 rat with this there a whack sound and thats the end of the rat and a nice big hole, Iv’e put 30 to 45 rounds in it so far and it’s not even broke in yet, will let you know more later but if you can find one buy it, i got this one in 2005 would like one more but its no longer made, i payed $400+USD, used ones are going for $700

I have owned a 25 caliber Kodiak since 1996 & use it for fairly close range yard varmit control. I use the crow magnum pellet mainly because I want humane kills. I had the gun cryo treated & it is much better now. I am not an expert marksman by any stretch & after the cryo I got 7 out of 7 mostly tree rats with the pellet entering the head between the eye & ear. I use a bushnell 3×9 scope on a b square mount. I may go with a gas conversion soon. The gun has also been blueprinted which improved the action quite a bit. For the money THIS IS THE KING.
