Bought mine (a .22) back in the early ’80s.

Still carries Beeman SS1 scope. Still shoots Hobbies @ 665 fps.

Killed a truckload of small game with this rig and it’s still going strong.

I’ve got around 50 airguns now, and this little C-1 still gets regular workouts (as do I, because the cocking effort is pretty stiff!)

Accurate, hardhitting, handy and useful. Hard to beat in a hunting springer!

To use a firearm analogy, this is a Winchester .30-30 ;]

Light enough, handy enough, accurate enough, powerful enough, reliable, dependable, and well made. Not the best at anything but pretty good at everything.

In the almost 30 years I’ve owned mine [in .22 cal] it has lost the new look but never the new perforance.

A true case of something being greater than the sum of it’s parts.

I purchased mine new in the ’80s when they first came out. Now almost 30yrs. later I still love this gun; handles well, shoots hard, and is very accurate. I’m contemplating having a gas ram installed. It has never been serviced, so that might be the time to install the gas ram. I does’nt wear out, it just seems to wear in.
