I guess it’s happened,
I like this OLD TIMMER, good gun for field or target.
I had the newer valve installed on the tanks way more reliable.
The only thing I don’t like about the gun is it’s an air hog,
but its easy to load easy to cock has a nice trigger and shoot very well.

I purchased my Condor second hand as I liked the look of the custom work that had been done. It arrived safely from a long journey accross country. Assembly and a fully charged air tank took me to my back yard range for some getting acquainted shooting.

My ‘Bird’ is fully shrouded and has had some work done to the valve to increase the power for whatever reason.

I loaded my First Kodiak, took careful aim at a target that was 50 yards out and WHAM, the steel can I had suspended from a wire tie went flying back and the wire tie was ripped from the can.

Out of the box and with some careful assembly this was shooting way better than my capabilities. I have well over 20 air rifles but this gun is a HAMMER. Deadly accurate as well.

The first kill was a Ground Hog that had been devastating my neighbors yard. I had shot at him in the past with various rifles, but when the “Bird” arrived…..one well placed kodiak sent that little yard digger to The Promised Land.

I highly recommend this rifle to anyone looking to keep American technology at hand and of course good old American value. This is one of my most favorite shooters and every time I shoot it I feel like it is the first time. I have owned this since May of 2009 and have put several thousand rounds through it without a hitch.

You want a great shooter, get one before they figure out that these are underpriced.

I am in Michigan. My e mail is mckeanrick@yahoo.com if I can help you with any questions

Extraordinary rifle. Accuracy far exceeds expectation. The power, even on the lowest setting, is possibly more than I had wanted…an 18.1 gr pellet goes cleanly through 6 layers of cardboard box at 110 yards.

Truly a fine shooting device. The only things I’d like to see would be a gauge for the airtank on the rifle, and a more effective suppressor than the shroud I bought from Airhog. At full power, with the 18.1 gr JSBs, the shroud doesn’t seem to make much of a difference, and I doubt I’m seeing supersonic muzzle velocities. However, at the lowest setting it’s almost silent. And, at low power it’s still putting out bigtime energy.

Chronograph should be here in a couple of days and I’ll be able to provide MV numbers.

In sum, this is a super rifle. You need to get yourself one!

I bought the .22 Condor HPA system from a supplier that handles and tricks out Airforce only and dang if this isn’t a case of getting what you pay for…..This has to be the sweetest package around!!!! I got it after deep research and recommendation of some buddies in Iraq and Afganistan that had them shipped there for “special applications”. I keep pushing the limits on this baby and it keeps surprising me..75-90 yards popping quarters and nickels is not unreal. My shots are even consitant out to 110 yds!!!!NO B.S.!!!! I was even screwing around and said why not and popped a 3 gallon plant pot dead center at 125 yds with a mil dot scope adjustment unfreakin’ believable but call me email or try one…The 4500 psi tank on the rifle is regulated and with JSB heavies and Kodiacs, I get about 55-65 consistent shots per fill maybe a few more,,,,,no need to mess with the power wheel, the regulator does it all and the built in tank guage lets you knowwhen to refill from the 4500 psi carbon fiber mother tank which equals the volume of 9-88cu ft regular tanks scuba tank. I’ve taken boar, javalina and from 35 yards, it went easily through 10 pidgeon carcasses……next on is same setup only in .25 cal…..but I’m still geting 57-62 foot pounds with the .22……forget strippers get this package!!!!!!

I purchased the Talon SS recently. This is my first PCP rifle. I’ve owned others since, but with this much power. Powerful & quiet enough for pests & target. The laser for small critters @ close range. The red dot(multi-reticle) for longer ranges. Surprisingly accurate. I thought my benjamin pump was accurate, but this accurate from a 12″barrel is very useful. Don’t need a scope. Also, accessories available are very useful to talor one’s needs.

Now the downsides;

first: no pressure gauge…future designs should be considered as a redesign or incorporated onto the existing tank(s). At the rear or bottom(butt) perhaps? I’ve seen tiny gauges on paintball gun tanks.

second: bipod should have twin clamps, not just one for more solid mount. Single clamp okay if weaver base, but now for dovetail base.

And one question; What the heck is a peice of white masking tape(1/2 x 3/4)for. I discovered it midway, taped onto the hammer spring? Please, I need an answer.

This is almost the perfect gun and very powerful!!

Earlier Condor’s had a problem with some of the tanks, which has been taken care of on all the newer models, which I now have, so no more problem there.

The other “problem” is the line of sight, however, that is now taken care of- (do a search for WOKBUTT and you will see the solution to the one thing that some people do not like about the rifle…, the line of sight.)

This the most powerful airgun I own and the most powerful I have ever owned.

Very easy to use-

Lots of available accessories-

Very accurate-
Can use CO2, air or nitrogen-

Can fill via tank or pump-

Lots and lots of options…, different calipers, different length barrels, lots of mods/tunes available, etc, etc.

This is one gun, if I had to do it all over again…, I would DEFINATELY buy this one again…, I can not say that for most others I have, except the TX200…, and it is a different catagory (springer).

With the condor, no heavy spring cocking, etc…, the ONE thing I would have changed is- multi-shot- that would make a perfect gun:)

I have had and shot this gun for over 3 years and it has served me well.

Keeping the roof clear of pigeons is the only reason I bought the gun,

For filling the tank I use an FX hand pump and the only issue I had with it was the very first fill, it took me 2 days, but after that the most I have had to pump was 100 to 150 times depending on the amount of shots I take.

Most of the kills are one shot humane kills I never take 2 as it is really is a waste. I like to see the birds dispatched with 1 shot and the gun is fully capable.

To bring this to an end I see this gun lasting for years to come.

P.S

When I bought the gun no sights were included so you will need a scope or purchase open sights when you order.

My second year with my Condor, will shoot groups under 1/2″ at 35 yds. 2 1/2″ at 100 yds. For the critics out there I say to you,”the gun is only as good as the shooter and the shooter as good as the scope”. The mods avalible for this gun will only improve the gun. I put a stroud on mine and it is extremly quite now. Also you can modify the safty and trigger to enhance accuracy. I was able to tear down the gun and work on it. Easy to do. The trouble with the air tank valves has been addressed and the only people with the problem have the old tanks and the manufacture will repair at not cost for the upgrade. I was very pleased with there service.

I have owned this rifle for almost a year, without having any problems.I took this to a outdoor range and was more accurate than the firearms at 50 yards, and I am not kidding. It all depends on who you buy from. People who have problems filling this rifle should fill to a pressure of 2700 psi. Also on full power use kodiaks to slow down for more accuracy The reason for 2700 is sometimes the valve will lock up. If someone wants to know where to purchase this rifle, the company I bought from fully test the rifle before shipping!

Experienced valve lock with 177 24″ barrel at 3000psi

reducing pressure means less total shots per fill so that’s a poor solution.

Finally replaced the Condor tank with a standard one which works well (no valve lock) but disappointed that full Condor power not acheivable this way.
also have the CO2 adapter which is great but tank diameter causes need for extra hi scope mounts.

The one piece adjustable mount is expensive and complicated to adjust.
